I have Sims 2 :D

I play a wide variety. I don't like Rock Band. I love all kinds of games.

I don't advertise my hobby. I'm don't go around saying "Look at me! Look at me! I'm a gamer girl! I'm a gamer girl!" I just play games. I don't play Call of Duty or games like that for attention. I like them because they're fun. Video games are a good stress relief for me.

I find it an extremely boring game.

What game are you talking about? Call of Duty is repetitive, but I still like it. When it comes to Shooting games, I have to say that Timeshift is the best.

I'll play and like just about any game. L.A. Noire is brilliant.

Does this thread apply to board games or table top games as well? I don't consider myself a video gamer but there've been a few that are very appealing to me. Anyone play Chrono Trigger, Dokapon Kingdom, Final Fantasy, Sam and Max?

It's so hard to find a gamer girl who plays and/or tolerates video games, but doesn't like all the anime..and the whole stereotypical nerd package.

Call of Duty Black 2 is fun. It's like having your fantasy setup, customized and tailored to the gamer's needs. Also they have zombies...who doesn't like zombies? Maybe its because I was in the Army, and the only fun thing that I miss about the Army is the guns and the gadgets. That's all. :P

Diablo 3 also! But I try to get out more and practice more about the game called "life." It's the hardest game yet, and I feel like a pawn still.

LA Noire is good but I'm rubbish at questioning people since I lack the ability to read people.

Come to Battlefield and tell that to my RPG. ^^ And Sims...I tried it once...its sooooooo lame. ^^ Rockband caused me learning drums. ^^

Other genres I like: From now and then I am into MMORPGS. Adventure games like "The Book of unwritten tales" or "Chaines of Satinav". Classic and traditional RPGs... (so Mass Effect or Skyrim is for me already on the border to a third person shooter with story.) Tactical/building games like "The Settlers", "Heroes of Might and Magic" or "Age of Wonders". Horror Games like the first two Resident Evils or Doom III (Genre is less important then Thrill.). And among friends we play Shooter from now and then, but we prefer the tactical ones, less CoD or such stuff, ...

Things I hate: Jump and Run, Sports and Racing, mindless shooters like CoD, so called Action-RPGs, Grinders like Diablo, Asia Grinder MMORPGS, Asian "sweetheart-fairytales" RPG (I want my axe/repulsive blaster and my beer. ^^)...

I think this is posted in the wrong forum section.

Anyway MMO games have a very heavy female population. I have been in guilds where near half the raid was female sadly you always get that one creepy person in the guild you end up having to kick because there are females around.

I agree with Funkmastermike I find anime so damn annoying but sadly it has huge popularity with girls these days if they want to be a nerd. I could stomach watching it with a girl if I got something afterwards I dislike anime that much.

I don't know. Perhaps if you're a gamer dude, you'd have better luck dating a gamer girl.

I used to play Runescape for a long time

I think half of the girls in the game are actually dudes irl. I would know because I played as a girl avatar for a long time and then I changed to a guy and everyone was like you're a dude?!
