Thought this thread would be really fun to make, and festive since Halloween is coming around shortly.

But straight to the point, what moment from a film just really gave you nightmares?

This one happens to be mine:

So, have at it!

The last five minutes of Salo.

Please forgive my hesitation when it comes to looking it up on YouTube.

I was 3 years old and thought my spine would leap out of my body I saw The Nutty Professor. Poor Jerry Lewis was on a table in a laboratory when he started convulsing while turning into something else. I ran screaming from the theatre to the lobby. Must've been funny to see some terrified little kid racing out to the lobby even if that kid was me.

Scene from the original Alien, where Tom Skerrit as Dallas is in the air ducts hunting the alien, when he realizes he is the one being hunted. Jumping into the passage below him, he turns around with his light, when the alien jumps at him!

For many years I could not handle watching that entire scene; it was easily the most suspenseful of the movie.
