I have always thought the number 11 was very elegant, and I like being 45 now because it's a lovely number. I dislike even numbers.

My favorite number is 11. If you add the digits together the sum is the prime number 2. What is especially exciting is the doubles it can make. Plus, it is a three syllable word (another prime number).

My number is 3. It has surrounded me lifelong.

I'm the 3rd of 6 children.
Most of my apartments, including this one, have been No. 3.
The number seems to show up at work and other portions of my life.

When I was very young my brother surprised me with a question, "what's your favorite number?".

I thought that was a silly question, but ok. It's 10 I said.
(because it's the first two digit number).

At the moment it is 11, but it is possible that it will change in a few years or so because I also had another favorite number before (3) and it changed. I don´t know why but I started to like 11 more than 3. The number in my nickname is 11 x 11, so I like this number, too.

I don't have a particular favourite number but I love all even numbers and dislike odd numbers unless they end in 5.

So far we have:

Reason Unknown or Unstated: (76, 7, 4, 13, 11 & 58819003613051935406)
The way it looks: (8, 19, & 11)
Related to personal info: (9)
Involves math: (120, 69, 216, 11, & 10)
Related to person's life: (13, 45, & 4)
Pop culture reference: (42)

One person dislikes even numbers and one dislikes odd numbers except those ending in 5

11 is the most popular at 3 votes, it even got one ("eleven") vote

And among reasons given, math is the most popular

I asked this question because I was guessing that numbers (being visual and symbolic) would be popular among Aspies, but I guess they aren't that big a deal to most of us. But thanks for answering everyone!

PS, if anybody has any other symbols they are fond of, I'd be interested to see those too. Thanks.

41.

I've thought since childhood you should always trust someone with a prime favorite number, and 41 is the best prime!

Oh, and 11430, IIRC. The number of numbers containing exactly two different numbers (i.e. binary) in a set of 99,999,999.

I'm a fan of the number 27 because something particularly memorable happened to me on the 27th of October three years ago. If it hadn't been for that, I doubt I would like it; I prefer even numbers, which are far easier to organise and just tidier all around. Also, for some reason I've always felt a little irritated by the number 7, like it was an annoying character in a story or something, I just get a bad vibe from it. Also, my synesthetic perception is such that both 2 and 7 are red, so to have an entirely red number like 27 when I could have something far more colourful like 35 or 63 is very odd. It's weird having so many reasons to dislike my favourite number, and yet it remains my favourite.

I like 2. I think it's because it's the first prime number. It's like the "hydrogen" of positive integers.

Also, 2+2 = 2*2 = 2^2. So it has a sort of mischievous quality as well.

My favorite number is 111, it just looks nice.

Strangely, I dislike all other odd numbers. For example the volume on my TV always has to be an even number.
