Anyone play Civilisation III anymore?

I got Civ 3 in a Steam sale about a year ago and every now and then I try to go on multiplayer , though no one is on there apart from a tiny group of people on Gamespy Arcade.

I got Gamespy Arcade and I just found it way to frustrating and complicated to try and make a game.

Anyway , does anyone play this game anymore?

I play single player a lot , its the only Civ game I have.

If You want to join multi with me then post , I would love a game with someone.

I haven't played for a long time, but it is my favourite version of Civ - I dread to think how many hours were devoted to it. I've been pretty dissapointed with more recent versions to be honest - bought the ipad version of civ recently - its dreadful.

Civ III was great.
Personally I liked IV because there are a lot of really interesting mods for it.

Civ V is just ok, it's biggest problem is late game instability.

I haven't played it for a few years but I did play it a lot, long after it came out, as well. I didn't like Civ IV and Civ V is now okay. I haven't played either as much as I've played III. II was the one that really got me hooked.

I have III loaded on the computer, but really haven't played it.

I still play II often. I haven't played II in a few months, but I was thinking about it just the other day and getting the urge to start again.

Maybe I will try III instead this time.

Civ I still rocks. Yes, I am old school. I used to enjoy hacking that game, and leaving it for my brother to unsuspectingly play...
