Sometimes I think that if the universe can be considered 'durationless' -- because it exists in a moment bounded by its earliest and latest 'selves', and all human subdurations of time are simply convenient illusions -- then everything in it, right down to the picosecond pops and femtosecond fizzes of the quantum level, have to have occurred during that same instant, and therefore talking about 'fate' and 'predestination' is a category error, because everything that can possibly be is contained within that universal moment. So your total future and your entire past co-exist simultaneously with every other 'moment'.
