While things are/aren't progressing with my footy player, there's another young gentleman who has piqued my interest.

He's the guy who services the air conditioners at work (when he does I have to walk with him as our management is anal and insists all visitors be escorted) once a month. I can't really tell if he's single or not, he never mentions a girlfriend or wife but he does mention he's building a house. We flirt a fair bit (well, as good as I'm able) and he's actually really cute.

Of course, we can all see the glaring problem of it being a sort of workplace romance thing.

Not that I require any advice as I'm just going to let things flow, but I thought I'd canvas the floor and see what you guys think.

EDIT: He also mentioned the next time he comes to do the air cons we can compare how our exercise went over the holiday, I said that sounded great. :)

Go running together, a no-pressure casual way to meet outside of work.

I am happy that you are having this nice experience (I got a taste myself recently but it ended up very awkward)
and I wish you both success.

Tip;

Be subtle, less is more. Also be yourself. If he is a keeper/good egg, he will go crazy for this.

If I said to you that he may be interested, how would that make you feel? Would you charge in, or take a relaxed approach to it? Try sharing an activity or meeting up outside of work and further assessing the situation.

Did she say what I thought she said about the management?

At least have him alter the settings to make the areas with people you like comfortable, and the areas with people you dislike really hot in summer.

This is good advice if you are both into it.

The only real problem I have with this one (apart from not being able to acertain his relationship status...) is he seems to be a bit of a bad boy/party boy type/admire those types. Alcohol and caffiene do more harm to me than good (alcohol makes me paranoid, caffiene makes me anxious) so I'm not so sure how we'd work out.

That's where I fit in better with my footy player, who while he enjoys a drink at a social occassion he doesn't seem to get drunk, and he's definitely not the bad-boy type (one of his favourite movies is "The Notebook"...ugh). Plus I know the footy player is single (chatted to him again last night too).

On strength alone, probably my footy player, as air-con guy has a few lingering injuries. However, in reality air-con guy, as footy player isn't the type to get into a fight, and probably doesn't know how to fight. The most he ever does is give his opponent a bit of shove before the game to let them know he's there. Meanwhile air-con guy is pretty rough, gets into a bit of trouble, blokey-bloke sort of guy.
