Usually one, but I might take another one or two really soft ones to hold my head better.

1 for my head , and another beside me , because the wall is cold , and to be safe if I had a bad dream , not to kick the wall

I have a queen size bed... 4 pillows, 2 stacks of 2 in case I roll around in my sleep.

I sleep just like that.Large one for my head and my cat.Two long "body pillows" on either side to put a leg on.I lay one one side hugging the pillow then lay on my tummy then switch to the other side.I can do this switching for hours before I fall asleep....almost arobic with all the "flip-floping I do.I always have one leg propped on the pillow that I am hugging.I thought about marketing one large U shaped pillow as long as your body, for people like us...but evidently ,we are freaks among even aspies. I was going to call it....."hug U",a couple could have a W shaped one to share.Guess,I will just have to make one for myself.I thought they would be great out of that posture pedic foam.

I sleep with three. One for head, one to keep between knees as chiropractor told me if reduces strain on the hip joints if you do that. And the pillow beside me is for my cat. Sometimes she sleeps on top of that pillow, but she usually gets up in the night and snuggles against me.

Has anyone seen I think its called a Mother's Pillow? I saw it in a magazine. It goes all the way around both sides of body & above the head so the pregnant mom can take the strain off her back by supporting her growing belly. It's made like a cocoon almost and has looks really comfortable. I thought about getting one, but there over $100. I hate to waste money to try it out because I have spent so much on pillows I didn't find comfortable.

But the most important thing though... is there room in your bed for your cat to sleep with that many pillows?
