Unseen Characters

There are certain characters in movies and TV shows that are mentioned, perhaps heard, but never seen. If they are seen, their faces aren't.

Examples:

Mrs. Wolowitz: Howard's always-yelling mother on The Big Bang Theory.

Man: The human hunters who serve as the villains in Bambi.

The Super Posse: A elite posse of men chasing after Butch and Sundance in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Maris on Frasier, (mostly) Vera on Cheers, Orson on Mork and Mindy

Haha Howard's mom was the first one I thought of when I saw this. Peanuts also has the adults that we never see ourselves, but talk in gibberish.

Charlie in Charlies Angels

In the James Bond films there was always someone mentioned, like Bond's boss, who was never seen (I think).

Thing from the Adams Family

The Weekenders had Chloe Montez, and Codename: Kids Next Door had Muffy Jenkins.

The mayor's secretary- Powerpuff Girls
I was hoing to say Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget, but apparently he has a face.

Skunky Beaumont and Principal Buttsavage, from Doug.

Bev from A Country practice you never see her she runs the switch board in the town, you do see the top of her head when she plays the piano at the club.

Charlie from Charlie's Angels.

Sheridon the son of Hyacinth. she talks to him on the phone.

Kim's first best friend Tanya from kath & kim she calls Sharon her second best friend but you never see her first best friend.

Colombo's wife

Robin Masters from "Mangnum, P.I." comes to mind. Some viewers thought that it might have been an alias for Higgins, but the show never revealed the truth.

I can only come up with characters whose real name or first name is never given, such as Qiuncy MD's first name. I knew a couple when I was a kid, before the days of cable that watched that show in repeats over and over trying to find out his first name.

King Richard in most of the Robin Hood stories. He's always eventually going to come back and restore order, or remove his brother from power, yet either he never does, or doesn't until the very, very end of the story.

Wilson from Home Improvement - Does this guy count seeing as how his mouth is always covered?

Dr Claw from Inspector Gadget

Lenny and Carl's possible wives/girlfriends from the Simpsons - In some episodes it been hinted that Homer Simpson's two co workers/friends have ladies in their lives especially Carl. In the episode Sunday, Cruddy Sunday Carl mentions that he has a wife and in the episode HOMЯ he mentions that he has a family. In the episode Marge on the Lam we see Lenny shaving a woman's leg, possibly he wife? Though in some episodes it's hinted that Lenny and Carl are single now and again.
