Has anyone here had a social life in college as well as gone to social outings?

If so have you remained friends with at least a few people?

I never had a social life and really want to have a social life that way I can find a girl to date with.

I made some friends in college I'm still very close with and some I don't talk to anymore.

I'm not a very social person, but I've got a decent social network through the department. We have a few social events throughout the course of the semester; some I'll go to, some I won't, depending on the location / my mood / my workload at the office. The option is certainly there.
