Hugs do not make me smile.

Its hard to say when I last smiled. Often I think I'm smiling and look in the mirror and
my face has no smile. So part of AS is not only not reading others non-verbal
communication correctly but transmitting the wrong non-verbal signals to others.

Tell you what: I have lived in society so bloody long that no matter what my native expression may be, I tend to automatically flash a pumpkin like grin full of teeth when meeting anyone. Nasty habit I suppose.

Well when I'm joking or see/ hear something funny I'm amused in my own mind but my face may not show that. Do not get me wrong I can smile but seems often in
my day to day life I'm not smiling on the outside when I'm smiling on the inside.

I smile when I learn about Russia, hear someone speak it, and when I think about something I love, and when I see my Schmoo. So I smiled a bit today.

From the Swedish film Lilya 4-Ever. It's a good if very depressing movie. I recommend it.

Me? I'd happily take the real Starbuline or Lilya any day (as long as they wanted to, that is). :)
