This is Asus' latest Tablet/netbook. It runs Win 8.1 and comes with MS Office.

I have an Android Transformer now, and I really love it... However, I did buy it in hopes of having a portable that could WORK and play. The Android is great for play, but lack of good MS Office compatible apps has kept it from being anything more than a toy.

This new Asus tablet/netbook seems to be the hardware solution I really need.

Does anybody here have experience with this machine?

I guess my question is a bit late since I just ordered one, but I'd still like to know what others think of this new gadget.

Is this the tablet grownups (read people who need to WORK as well as play) have been waiting for?

I hope so.

I actually own a similar Asus product apart from, mine doesn't transform and it currently runs Windows 8.1.
As for work and play, yes it is possible especially if your running android but personally, I don't really like it that much in comparison to Windows.

So, you like your Asus windows tablet?

Is it one of their vivo tabs?

I almost got one of those, but opted for the transformer because of better battery life.

I recently bought an ASUS Notebook X102.
It runs Windows 8.1 and came with an Office license.
It's not quite as zippy as my quad-core but I've been rather impressed otherwise.
I'm enjoying what I get for the size and price.
