What are some of the positive things about the forum and it's members?

This forum allows me to find people who have gone through similar experiences that I've gone through and relate to them. I prefer posting here to socializing with NTs my age in real life.

The fact that this site is based off of a positive outlook makes it easier, and I commend Alex for making this place. He said so himself in that podcast interview that that was his goal while creating the site.

Everybody is willing to stick up for me, after I fail at a sucessful attempt to stick up for myself.

My positive intentions begin to go somewhat awry...

I like the fact that everyone here can be completely open and honest about their opinions, their hobbies, and their struggles without being ridiculed. CockneyRebel's Routemaster obsession is a good example of this. At any other site she'd probably be picked on for it, but we all like it here.

May be unfair to paraphrase in such a manner ( i do not know the details.)
But the positive thing about this place is that people with AS can express their views without judgement.

As for the statement, 'many women deserve to be raped': the moot point is in defining what is meant by 'many'.
I find it hard to condone child-adult sexual relationship, but like i say, the good thing about WP is it is a place where people with AS can communicate.

edit: Jimservo, this should reinforce your positive intentions.

Thank you. I wanted to provide an alternative to the rather disturbing postings by the puppeteer among us. Fortunately Alex arrived just as I started this topic.

The forum is a lot safer from mean Australians than most forums.
