Okay, just saw the movie 'Delivery Man' at the dollar theater (which is now actually two dollars! :P )
The main character donated sperm to a lab six hundred some odd times using the anonymous name Starbuck. And he has sired 533 children. Apparently, his sperm were very mobile, the goofy lab didn't have too many other donors, etc.
So, some of the children are getting together calling themselves the Starbuck children and are suing the lab stating they have a right to know who their father is.
The main character is quirky, offbeat, creative, doesn't quite fit in. Many of the children are quirky, offbeat, creative, don't quite fit in. Now, none of the characters were shown having sensory issues or engaging in stimming, so it's not full-fledged spectrum. Let's call it Spectrum-lite, Aspie-friendly, something like that.
This is a great but flawed movie. For example, I could gave done without the heavy downbeat of him owing money to organized crime. But all in all, recommended.
Check it out if you have a 'dollar' theater you like.
Or according to this, the scheduled DVD release date is March 25.
