I've never had a Blu Ray disc, I watch DVDs and I think that's good enough quality.

It reminds of when I was little on VHS videos there would be adverts telling You how great DVDs were and how it's almost lifelike quality, thouse were the days.

DVD are not of good enough quality for Ghibli movies. On traditional animation movies, Blu Ray make a HUGE difference.

For me it was Beauty and the Beast. However I didn't have a blu ray player at the time so when I did get one I also had the "so called" complete saga of Star Wars which is awesome because I friggin love Star Wars but if I knew Disney were going to make more movies I probably wouldn't have got it but then again I don't know how many movies they're going to make so whatever.

The first Fairy Tail set. It was a DVD/Blu combo pack, and since I didn't have a Blu player yet, I only got it for the DVDs.

Entire set of all Star Trek movies (except latest one) I only got a Blue Ray last year, up until then I had a DVD player and so only bought those.
