For me, an irritating thing or pet peeve is when people flaunt IQ numbers around thinking that everything they say is law or of superior knowledge ... This isn't for Aspie scores or etc but for when people would go on "I have an IQ of 150! I know what I'm talking about!" :|

People who are never wrong, and refuse to entertain the notion. It's why I'm allergic to most churches.

I find it irritating when people refuse to be helped.

They just keep coming up with more and more excuses.

I find it extremely draining.

Tampon and pad commercials. I despise them.

HEre are a few of my more recent ones but not in any order:
- People in the grocery store checkout line that argue prices with the cashier and hold everyone else up
- Reckless or generally stupid drivers
- People that can't or won't control their kids in restaurants and theaters
- People who abandon or neglect their pets (my biggest pet peeve)

same here.

added to it,
#the use of ret*d or mentaly ret*d [its now almost a full year since the DSM changed mental retardation to intelectual disability and ID had been in use for years unofficialy beforehand in preparation].

#pain.
am in severe head, wrist and back pain every day; from daily built up sensory and information overload plus head banging throughout the day, from the september & december incidents with police, the four months of daily clinical support staff restraint [thrown to floor, pinned down to point cannot breathe and laid on top of by multiple people whilst having arms twisted behind back] and from the police;over twenty hours worth of fighting against hand and leg cuffing.
am depressed and extremely cynical of the human race at the moment, more so of those who are supposed to be here to help,eg; doctors.

#people who whinge about facebook.
dont like it? get off it and shut up about it, for some of us its a life line and the only way we can communicate properly with relatives/friends/support staff of ours.

#people who think guessing someones password is 'hacking' and thus refer to themselves as hackers. wheres a face plant smiley when we need one?

#living in a care home which doesnt have enough support staff who drive.
as someone who cant access public transport and has a motability car,its really frustrating to have a day planned out;especialy well in advance and find on the day that the two support staff on with self
are neither drivers-was due to go to the NHS/learning disability team service user advocacy group today,to help the team understand how to deal with mental illness in us better and also to help them start setting up learning disability awareness week [a UK based awareness week for intelectual disability,we are setting it up alongside mencap].

The same here, although I was no better than them at one point in my life and used that word a lot, I guess I stopped because of how immature it was making me look.

I know how that feels as my wrists bother me (possibly carpel tunnel syndrome which I hope it isn't)
and I think I may have a slipped disk in my back as I have numbness and shooting pain down my lower back and leg.

I hear you on that you, and they are actually worse than script kiddies who think their elite when really they don't have an atom of an idea what their doing or how the program or script their using works at all. You gotta love the stupidity of those 'how to be anonymous on the internet' tutorials when so many things can give their asses away :|

It seems like IQ tests are more about knowing how to solve problems and puzzles and figure out tasks than it is about any knowledge sets. When I went to see Psychiatrist for disability approval she kept asking if I knew that I was so intelligent. She said this maybe 4 times, and I'm thinking, "how would you know anything about my intelligence? This is the first time I ever laid eyeballs on you" She had not asked me anything but some short term memory BS and count back from 100 in 7's and a few other loopey puzzles and 6th grade level math problems. I think IQ's are overrated.

Okay, here we go again.

Guys with baseball caps turned all around and cockey on their head.
Women wearing big thick high heeled shoes that sound like horseshoes on concrete when she is walking on hard floors.
Tattoos, just burn my eye sockets.
Perfume splashed on so thick I can smell it more than 4 feet away. Well, any body scent, oil, lotion, powder, hair product that smells.
Flags, or really pretty much any form of symbolism.
Loud. Extroversion displayed through attitude, fashion, voice, all the above. I don't like people "pouring" out all over me. Even online I feel loud personalities flooding my senses.

And yeah, I know I seem just exactly that way myself.

And I HATE it.

I hate it when I see grown adults drinking tins of beer when they're walking down the street. (I don't mean homeless people).

I hate it when I see grown men hanging around the streets with teenagers.

I think there is something wrong with them.
