For me the answer is 'no'. I'm a grown up and I still put away milk, cheese, and ice cream, at will.

I went to my local shop to buy some soft cheese. All 5 packs were more than a week out-of-date, then I went for my next choice and all 3 packs of them were out-of-date so I took the hint that cheese hates me.
