I have been cutting myself since I was 13 and I have been anorexic since I was 19, are there any others struggling with these issues here? :?

I usually bite my hands during meltdowns, but I don't know if that counts as self-injuring.

Sometimes I bleed, but usually not.

I used to have issues with anorexia and self injuring while in my teens. I would strike a match, blow it out, and hold it to my arm, or take the metal tab from a soda can, and cut my arms. When seventeen, I was nearly hospitalized for anorexia.

I would cut at my arm with sharpened pencils.

I used to self harm a great deal, and was anorexic for over 10 years on and off. 74ibs at my worst. I am fine physically now, although still have the anorexic mindset. I tend to see it as just another obsessive interest, only a rather destructive one. The self injury was rarely controlled and came during rages.

I am a former self-injurer and have very bad scars on my arms and a few less severe scars on my thighs and hips. Currently the worst I do is scratch myself, sometimes to the point of bleeding and on rare occasion bang my head.

I've never had an eating disorder but I have had periods here and there were I stopped eating and lost a lot of weight, and I worried I was developing an eating disorder. One time was when I was pregnant in 2005 and another time was later that year. I think it's usually a response to stress.

I have a big appetite and a love for food. I guess that it could be injuring my heart without me knowing it.

Used to do a lot of cutting, but over the last few years I've managed to get away from it--I used to do the head-banging thing to, but I've kind of tried to get away from that too.

I used to be anorexic at late-16 early-17. I got to my ideal weight only a couple of days ago. Finally. I have even been able to start running again. 1500m in sports day, here I come! I've got to beat my old time of 5min 58sec.
I self-harmed for 3 years (13-16). I sitll want to (not because I'm depressed, but more because I just like pain :D) but I'm too afraid that my Mum will find out and get the wrong idea.
And we all know about the mulitple psych wards that I've been to, so I won't repeat. I self-harmed with a razor IN my bedroom there, with another patient!

Do you have a physical illness? Perhaps there is something wrong with your digestive system that's making you feel physically unable to eat much? You need to eat dude... Get it checked out.
