As an American citizen, I would like to apologize to the people of the world for the actions of our government. It's worth noting that our congress has an approval rating of 13% last time I checked.
Our presidents approval rating can be tracked [url=:

As you can see, we don't agree with what's being done either. The problem is that campaigns are extremely expensive. As such, politicians in the U.S. need cooperate sponsors to get started. Of course, that means that they serve corporate interests more often than not ... and of course those don't always reflect the wants and needs of the people.
So, to the people of all of the countries that are occupied by our current imperialist plutocracy, please understand that we don't like it either.
I know Obama is not doing a stellar job but a Rasmussen poll is hardly going to reflect an unbiased picture of his approval Rasmussen is one of only two polls who consistently reported Romney as being in the lead during the last Presidential election.
I don't want US troops to be in Poland, or in the majority of the places we currently occupy. I honestly believe sometimes the government only keeps our troops scattered around the world because it is a form of employment as much as it is defense. As soon as you start talking about cutting military, individual members of Congress will catch the dickens from state residents because the military is a job, and income to people.
