Hackers are just as much scum as are pedophiles. Using your knowledge to intrude on the privacy of others by climbing around inside an unsuspecting persons computer or other device is not different than NSA intrusions. I have no respect for hackers. Hackers destroy the internet.
Just a suggestion, but you should probably know what you're talking about before you post something online.
So there are not hackers on the internet climbing around inside the computers of unsuspecting, innocent internet users? There is no escuse or justification for someone to use their knowledge of technology to intrude upon the privacy of others.
I don't know, I guess, the technological PC term for "hacker." It seems like being called a "hacker" in the tech community, carries some level of prestige, for whatever reason, but amongst the world of casual internet users I think the term "hacker" is associated with sinister and nefarious activity. Whether or not you agree, any person or entity who slips a program onto my computer without my consent is a hacker. I am the one who paid for my equipment. Just because you have some level of expertise that is beyond my capabilities does not give you the right to infiltrate my devices, for whatever reason you might find justification for. Use your knowledge to make all the money you want. Be proud of what you know and do, if pride is your thing, but keep your bits and bytes out of my devices unless I ask you to climb around inside my stuff.
