I have an old yamaha ef2000 generator (not to be confused with the more recent ef2000is model which is completely different) that's in pretty poor condition. I've been meaning to get it working, but I can't find a manual for one for free & the only actual money I have is about five dollars in coins. I can scavenge for hardware (something I've become quite good at in the brief time I've existed), but I can't buy anything.

I've found a ton of websites with free PDF versions of the ef2000is manual, so it seems like I should be able to find one for the ef2000.

Just to be clear, this is the kind I have: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/351040828621?lpid=82

Thanks in advance for any help you have for me :)

If you really can't find it, I'd use the Yamaha website and contact them directly asking if they could give you a PDF copy of the original manual. I'd give them any identification number you have on that thing, so they know you need it as a customer.

This is good. I have old Southbend lathes the no longer had manuals. Eventually got a PDF and a neighbor gave me one of his manuals later on.

Thank you very much. I'll try using quotation marks and if that doesn't work I'll see if I can get in touch with Yamaha.
