I'm not a fan of Bryan Singer in fact I've never seen The Usual Suspects nor do I care but I have been a fan of the X-Men movies, though looking back at the first one it's good but not as good as I remember. It seems small at times but I still kinda like it. The sequel still works for me though. I use to watch these movies a lot back in what I like to call the pre MCU days but with the upcoming DOFP also directed by Singer I've been re watching these movies and something comes to mind. With the recent things that Singer has been accused of recently and while we don't really know if it's true or not I just wanna ask (and this may sound silly) if he is guilty, if there is absolute proof of the things he did, would it be OK for me and anyone else to still like his movies? I was watching the first movie today and most of the time I was thinking about the above stuff. I get this weird feeling that if people knew I liked these movies despite the terrible things of what Singer might have done I might be judged or something and I wanna get these feeling out of me before DOFP comes out.

You should take those accusations with a grain of salts, since that's all they are. And even if so, it doesn't change the fact that he made the first 2 X-Men movies great and really revived the comic book movie genre, along with Blade.

I felt a lot of the same things when Michael Jackson was accused in 2003. I'd always felt uncomfortable admitting I was a fan of his when speaking to people since the 1993 case was settled; they always looked at me with negative expressions. It wasn't until all 14 counts came back as "not guilty" in 2005, that I gained a lot more peace over enjoying his music.

I don't know whether Mr. Singer's guilty or not, but if so, he should be locked in a dark hole for the rest of his life. I think I'd still be able to enjoy the "X-Men" movies, but a guilty verdict would make me feel very queasy about his work for a long time.

I already questioned the validity of the accusations and it will not stop me from trying to go see X-Men DOFP, which is getting awesome feedback.

I saw X-Men DOFP today and it was frickin awesome. If he did do all those things is it wrong for me to love his movies? I mean despite directing the movie he wasn't the only person working on the movie. There were a lot of other people. More praise should go to the actors and the X-Men have been around since before Singer.

MJ was probably a castrato. It would explain many things.
