Awesome tastes, ASPartOfMe!

I'm not sure if they're technically considered punk, but I love Murder City Devils. Also, Dead Milkmen are super fun. Fifteen. And I guess they fall under the category of Riot Grrrl, but Bikini Kill, Joan Jett and the Gitts, and if I think of anymore I'll definitely follow up.

Not really a big fan of punk and barring the likes of Stiff Little Fingers it was always the early-mid 80's pre-grindcore anarcho hardcore that attracted me.Bands such as.

Crass
Doom
Discharge
Subhumans
Heresy
SM 70
Siege
Lärm......... and what not.

The Macc Lads and Peter and the Test Tube Babies are great for a bit of old drunken light hearted fun.

I prefer post-punk to punk: Joy Division, Magazine, The Fall, Gang of Four

Buzzcocks are my favourite band in general, though. I like The Damned a bit, as well - but Buzzcocks are nearly a special interest, I like them so much. I'm not a big fan of any other the other British 70s punk bands, although I will listen to them from time to time. I do like Spizzenergi a bit.

I do like protopunk like The Stooges, The Velvet Underground and all the solo careers from that band. I'm not really a fan of The Ramones, but again, I will listen to them from time to time.

Well, thank you.

I would consider Riot Grrrl punk. Loved L7, loved 7 Year b***h's name and like some of their music also.

A Wilhelm Scream.

Also, if you qualify it as "punk", I'll throw Jawbreaker in there. I could see arguments either way, but if Green Day and Offspring represent punk, then Jawbreaker qualifies by a wide margin.
