Why are you here? I have autism and nonverbal learning disorder. I enjoy reading about other people's experiences with these conditions in order to learn how to better cope with them.

Year/Grade: In between high-school and college. I graduated shortly after turning nineteen and have been working on my independence skills since, unable to start college because of impairments.

Plans for the future? Start college next August and work on growing more independent, maybe learn to drive and volunteer to learn job skills.

Any comments? I don't think I come across as very friendly in my posts - when I read through my archives I usually seem to come across as stiff or formal - but I do enjoy the company of the people here.
