Notification of replies?

Do you set your account so that WP notifies you of replies in a thread you have posted in?
Yes 33%  33%  [ 4 ]
No 17%  17%  [ 2 ]
Sometimes 25%  25%  [ 3 ]
I leave the thread open in a tab to save for later 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
I check the forums regularly for new replies 25%  25%  [ 3 ]
Other (please specify if wish) 0%  0%  [ 0 ]

Do you return to threads after you have posted in them? How do you watch for replies?

I just check the thread regularly. If there was a way to notify of new replies that wasn't email, i would do that.

WP supposedly adds your replies to threads into it's automatic Topic Reply Notification system

I have used the link under the "post reply" button to get replies a couple of times and it works for me. I have only used it when I didn't expect to check the forums regularly, but had asked a question. I don't want to be one of those posters who starts a thread and then abandons it.

I didn't get a TRN for this thread, I was just randomly veiwing threads !

Maybe the account settings don't work and you have to click on the link at the bottom of each individual thread?

I have it set to send me emails & I click Watch Topic if I don't post in it but want to watch it. I don't always check WP everyday & even when I do I don't want to have to click on the same thread when there's no new replies just incase. I don't always get reply notifications because of the many WP bugs & post I wanted to watch can get missed.
