has anyone seen it or is going to see it later? I'm asking a girl out to see it on Sunday and want to know how long the two hours it takes are. Not that I'm implying anything of course, I just want to know what you think of it. My dad said it was a chick flick, which turned himm off from it completely, but it looks like it may be an interesting watch. Any thoughts?

Can't resist the urge to take this literally and reply: a two-hour movie will be 120 minutes long.

Guess that's not what you mean, but at least you'll get a bump out of it.

I happen to be a massive fan of the book, so I thought it was wonderful. But my mom went to see it with me (as I had nobody else to go with) and she enjoyed it (and she doesn't like chick flicks!). It is heavily focused on the romance, more so than the book I think, but the actors are really good, and I think what a lot of people like about it is the strong voices of the characters. It's also hilarious ^^

I haven't read the book, but I plan on watching this when it comes out on DVD.

When I saw this in theater there was a girl who somehow managed to lay in her seat the entire time. I didn't stare because I didn't want to bother her but I could sense her being very comfy and happy. I was happy as well. It's a fantastic movie. I've seen it twice now because my dad wanted to see it after his friend told him how great it was.

It's worth noting that while in many respects it is very different there are commonalities between this and A Walk To Remember. AWTR is one of my favourite movies of all time. You could like one even if you disliked the other but I'm glad to enjoy both.

I read the book and wasn't impressed. It was told in a very "empty" way, considering the subject matter. No feeling to the characters and so I did not care about them. I reckon the film will be worse.

It didn't get a very high rating on rottentomatoes.com

I enjoyed the book. But I do not really like the look of the trailer I have seen for the film. I think this might be a case where it is better to just stick to the book, which was not so overtly teenagey as the film appears to be.

80% critics and 87% for audiences. That's pretty good to me.

Watched it on the way to the Philippines (Because the plane I was in had it on their AVoD system), and it was good movie. except I didn't cry, and more of pity for the couple. I even thought it was a distaff counterpart of Little Manhattan.

Little Manhattan is a cute movie. Been a while since I've seen it though.

Indeed it is! one of my fave movies. In fact I put an entry for it on TV Tropes:

I actually live under a rock and have no idea what it is, or what it is about. I do not know of any movies that are coming out the only thing I care about is the next season of Game of Thrones as far as movies/t.v aside from that old movies are good I am usually disappointed any time I see a movie in the theater.

It has an interesting title though so maybe it is good.
