Why can't I make a poll?

Yesterday I attempted to make one for a new topic. I typed in one title and one option for the poll, and put in the number of days. I clicked "Add option", but a screen popped up that says "you must enter a message when posting" even though I was not trying to post yet, and I had text put in.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it just my computer?

I used random text to test it, and it worked! :)
