People with autism sometimes associate unique things with environmental stimuli. Daniel Tammet and the shapes he has associated with numbers, for example. Does anyone find these associations to be similar to Wordsworth's "Spots of Time," the purpose of which he describes in the above quote? If so, is there any particular stimulus that "nourishes and invisibly repairs"
