ahem.

MY DONKEY-
everyone's got a donkey all their own-
no matter if one is supine or prone.
stand with back to mirror, with 'nother mirror in hand,
and you'll see straightaway, your donkey behind your gland.
though a few are quiet, most bray and sometimes stink-
but be glad you got one, 'else you couldn't sit, methinks.
[hey, at least it was relatively clean :) ]

I have a weird sense of humor. I'll laugh at a lot of things no one else finds funny, but be all "WTF?" at certain things other people find funny.

You ever sit in a room full of 600 people or so, and find that you are the only one laughing. It really makes you know you are different.

My over/under exaggerations, comparisons, and sarcasm basically make up my humor. Along with a few bad puns, that even I sometimes don't laugh at (I laugh at all my own jokes). Other people just seem to laugh at my blunt comments (I only occasionally get why they're funny). I guess people see my comments as deadpan. As for a comedian I like... I like Jim Gaffigan. One thing I never got though, was why people thought other people hurting themselves in stupid ways was funny.

Sitcoms aren't funny, however canned laughter sometimes leaves me in stitches.

Speaking of sitcoms. That guy Drew Carey, and his show, has never made me laugh. I had a friend that watched that show religiously. Unfortunately at the time, I had to live with him. It was like torture. I guess the price is right is o.k. for him. It is not supposed to be funny.

I can sum up my sense of humor by one man:

watching Seinfeld was, to me, like being an anthropologist watching Venusians in their element.
