Evolution is BS and based on guesses

Evolution is a theory. T-H-E-O-R-Y. Meaning it can be proven wrong. Meaning it's a guess. Meaning like all theories can be debunked. Yet scientists pontificate about it dogmatically as if it's absolute reality. Why won't they teach the other side? Scientists propound how science is about rationality yet consolidate the field to a select few who parrot dogma and any dissenter is stitgmaitized. There are many theories debunked and evolution isn't inerrant and infallible as to be immune to the rigor of scrutiny and modification. There's no evidence to disprove evolution not being true thus it's not true. There is no evidence that God doesn't exist thus he probably exists. There are many creationist scientists with PHDs who argue against evolution thus there is no scientific consensus regarding evolution. Plus where's the material evidence for evolution? How could a horse come from a fish? How could a bird come from a lizard, a f*****g lizard?? How?? Scientists weren't alive years ago yet act as if they're omniscient and know the past. Seriously science is constantly fluctuating as new evidence comes to light. Evolution is only as good as its time. God said evolution is false and because his word is infallible then evolution isn't true.

There is evolution observed everyday on the microscopic level - simple cell life changes as need be. More complex life needs more time to change, but change it does, as demonstrated by the fossil record. And as a matter of fact, I do fancy myself to be a Christian, and I have no problem with evolution, the big bang theory, or the geologic age of the earth. And yes, there are Christian believers involved in science, and I think the great majority of them accept evolution. Creationism is in fact nothing more than pseudo-science, with a fore drawn conclusion.

Evolution isn't a theory, it is a fact (just as a bridge, a tree or a thunderstorm is a fact). Evolution isn't immune to the rigor of scrutiny and modification, either. It just happens to be true, though.

There are several mechanisms of evolution (like group selection, sexual selection, kin selection and reciprocal altruism) that may be considered theories on how evolution takes place, just as there are theories on how on how bridges collapse, trees grow and thunderstorms form.

The O.P. is confusing the colloquial use of the word theory with the scientific use of the term which is very different in meaning. Evolution is quite possibly the best-supported scientific idea known to man. It is supported by so much evidence of so many different types all pointing to the same reality that anyone who denies it happens is either ignorant of the actual evidence (by far the most common reason), too stupid to understand it, batshit crazy, or knows about it but denies it anyway for some nefarious purpose such as to sell creationist videos to gullible morons.

Most people who argue against evolution are very, very, VERY (I cannot emphasize this enough) badly misinformed about it. Creationist sources ignore most of the strongest evidence supporting evolution and deny or distort what they do not ignore. Such sources are also notorious for the blatantly dishonest practice known as "quote mining" where they take something someone said out of context in such a way as to make it look like it means the exact opposite of the original meaning in the full quotation. It offends me greatly that the side which tries to claim the moral high ground on this issue is the side that is spreading misinformation and LIES about it, and they do it in the name of God. They shame their religion and make all religious people look really stupid.

Birds did not come from lizards, but it is pretty clear they did evolve from a suborder of dinosaurs (dinosaurs aren't lizards btw). And yes, if you go back about 400 million years the ancestor of all tetrapod land animals (including dinosaurs, birds, horses and humans) was a fish. And before one criticizes the methods we use to determine such dates, consider that if the principles of radiometric dating are based on were bogus, nuclear power plants would not work. They are the same principles.

The bottom line is that evolution happens, and if the main reason one doesn't like it has anything to do with how one interprets a mythology written by and for nomadic goat herders of the ancient Near East, then I would suggest that either your style of interpretation should be reexamined for those passages, or God is lying to us in His Book, or God is lying to us in His Creation. I for one cannot believe in a prankster God who would make it look so much that evolution happens if it doesn't, especially if the price of our being fooled by this ultimate deception would be damnation for eternity.
