Openness to research study posts?

Hello,

I am Hillary and I am new to this forum. This is a really incredible space. I have a question related to respect/etiquette -- would it be possible to share an online research opportunity on WP? For my psychology dissertation project, I am conducting a 20-minute online survey on sexuality and well-being, and would love to be able to spread the word. However, I have seen very few posts about research studies on the forums, and do not want to overstep or post when it is not welcome or permitted. Would anyone be willing to share their thoughts?

The official line is that you have to contact Alex, the site owner for permission but to be frank, he never replies anyway which just leads to frustration. Provided surveys look legitimate e.g. students or researchers at academic or scientific institutions then I just turn a blind eye to them nowadays. (I'm a site admin / moderator).
