Here are some things that you may be a little surprised to learn about me.

I was born on September 22, 1986 in Seattle, Washington
Seattle, Washington is the farthest west you can go in the United States without going into the Pacific Ocean
I was born 3 months premature on a respirator
When I was born, my parents were just finished watching Monday Night Football
I am living in New York right now, and if I would have been born here, I would have been born on September 23. I was born at 9:58pm, and there is a 3-hour time difference between Eastern and Pacific time. Pacific time is 3 hours earlier than Eastern time. 12:58am is considered the next day. Regardless, 9/22/86 is my birthdate.
That day is also the same day that ALF's TV show premiered on television. For those of you who don't know, ALF is a real-life alien whose real name is Gordon Shumway. He is most certainly alive and well.
Also, the first episode of a game show called Double Dare premiered on that day. It was on a network called Nickelodeon. It was a combination stunt/quiz show
Speaking of game shows, they have been a lifelong interest of mine. The first game show I remember watching was Wheel of Fortune.
I used to turn the volume all the way down on the TV when a big win was about to happen on a game show. Since then, I have been thrilled to see people win lots of cash and prizes on a game show.
I have cerebral palsy and have been in a wheelchair ever since I was 4 years old. That means the messages in my legs do not go to my brain as well as another person's do.

In my opinion, I am very happy to have made it in my life, and had the opportunity to take part in many good experiences.

I am born in mid-October. I am a Libra.
If you study Astrology a cusp is one who
may share similar traits to another sign.

For example:

Sept 23-Oct 22 are libra days, you are September,
or a cusp(5 days before the new sign).
I am Mid-October and would be the cusp
of a Scorpio which may apply to my fiery
temper and autistic reactions being more or
less reactive. You on the other hand qualify
as expressive. And I love this. You say Hi!
with such sincereity. How libra of you(even
as a cusper).

I am aware that most people on this site aren't
into astrology to any, or a limited extent, and
that may include you? But I still like your
expressive livliness that is so Libra like myself.

Sincerely,
Ghosthunter

P.S...Keep being expressive, that is a wonderful
gift that most people don't have.

Larsen: you're a cool guy. I noticed you like gameshows. I didn't know that Seattle was the farthest west! I learn many new things everyday!

Jason,

I've liked game shows on and off through the years.

You're probably familiar with the similarly named Michael Larson.
Here's a link about him: http://gscentral.net/larsen.htm

I saw that Press Your Luck special that featured his episode. I admired him for figuring out the pattern. I like patterns myself. As far as I'm concerned, he earned his money fair and square. He had a sad ending, though.

CBS was about ready to relive 1958 after that one. But yes, Larson won it all fair and square by being smarter than the average bear (or ice cream man, in this case). Then he got real stupid and spent it all.

Jason, I have a feeling your name is familiar to me from the Invision board. Have I seen you there?

Some of my earliest memories involve watching gameshows.

Back in the early 80's both CBS and NBC had their morning line-up's full of gameshows.

Also, to correct one thing. Double Dare premiered two weeks later on Oct 6, 1986, and not 9/22 like ALF did.

BTW ALF ROCKS!

Kitkat,

Your parents were married two days after Gwyneth Paltrow was born on a wednesday; four wednesdays after Cameron Diaz. 9/29/82 was a wednesday in 1982 and last year too. I like 9/29 because both of the times I was on "Sixty Minutes" were 9/29; in 1996 and 2004. In both instances, 9/29 was the 273rd day of the year which
is nice since 273 times 3663 = 999999.

Zed, I do not post to the Invision board. You must be thinking of someone else. Kitkat. I have a website as well, but it hasn't been updated in 3 years. I must say, everyone in this world is born with potential. I have it, and I can use it. There are many interesting things I can do in my future (I'm sorry for sounding arrogant, I mean the same thing for all of you too.)

I've all but memorized the schedules of 2 bus and one train routes near my house.
My first crush was on a girl from "across the pond".
I went to a Yankees game only once, and saw Bernie's 1500th career hit.
I am a legal citizen of Israel and the US.
I weighed 140 pounds this time last year, now it's 125.

I have gone on vacations by car as far west as Chicago and as far south as Florida.
I have been on trains and/or subways in New Jersey, New York, Philly, Washington, Chicago, Orlando, Seattle, and Israel.
My grandparents are Holacaust survivors.
I sleep naked.
I collect baseball cards and have several hundred...I also collect bus tickets/schedules...I used to have a foreign money collection, but my mom stole that from me after I ran away from home.

P. S. I posted a link to a pic of myself in the pics thread...it's out-of-date, but I'm basically slimmer and taller now, and that's the only difference.

P. P. S. KitKat, you're HOT!! !! !
