Paper Trail

On my way to work this morning I noticed that there were yellow stickers stuck on the ground at intervals of around 4 foot. They are stickers that we use in the supermarket where I work. The trail continued all the way from my house, to work. On my way home, I walked past my house to see how far they went, but they stopped at my house. 8O

What is weird?

Any ideas of to who put them there? Or why?

That is thoroughly bizarre though. I mean OK on the flor etc. etc. but JUST from your work to home? I do hope you are not being stalked or someting! (Although perha;ps it would be an original way of trying to get your attention! I once attempted something similarly with flowers after unsuccessfully spending several weeks at a library watching a librarian I had become somewhat obsessed with)

Could they have come out of your pocket? Are you missing any stickers? Or are the intervals and the placement too regular for that?

They were not my stickers, as I didn't have any. They are too evenly spaced to be an accident.

To judge the time it takes for this trail
to be made, how far is your house from
work?

What was the spacing distance per sheet?

Are there curves, or straight lines to your
work from your house?

What were the paper colors?

This is all that comes to my mind about
the case of the "Paper Trail" mystery,

Sherlock-Ghosthunter!

It takes around 8 minutes at a brisk walk.

It is along straight roads, but there are 4 corners.

Tally, I'm a bit concerned that you might have a stalker.

Keep notes about this (date it happened, time you noticed, etc) and maybe some of the sticky notes. If any other odd thing occurs, please consider contacting the police. If nothing else, they might step up the number of times they look into your neighborhood.

Maybe there will road repairs or fiber cable being put in underground and it marks the cable. yeh does sound weird : :?
