My doctor just gave me the most sedating antipsychotic Seroquel, for the sake of somnolence. When I'm asleep I'm at peace. When I'm awake, I'm a nervous wreck.

Some of my most vivid fantasies and gardens of green, fields of flowers shower me in color, brilliance and inspiration. These are dreams of fields without fences, almost otherworldly universes and limitless wells of creativity with which I often dip my pen into in times of wakefulness. My life awake is nice yet pales in comparison to the warm pulsing glow of my nocturnal excursions.

I hate waking up, because it means waking up to more depression and pain.

You might want to talk to your doctor about that - maybe he can prescribe something with less side effects that still does the job.

Take care. :D

Side effects have nothing to do with it.

Ever read Lovecraft? This description reminds me of "Celephais" and "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath". :)

I also prefer sleep to waking life.
