Name- Awesomia

Government Type- Constitutional Republic with a two-party system. The existing major parties are the following:
Progressive Party- Represented by Blue, this party is considered the left-wing party of the nation and is noted for being very anti-war with a greater tendency towards internationalism and regulation of industry and being socially liberal.

Blade Party- Represented by Red. This party is the nation's right wing party and the Blade is a reference to a cultural element in the dominant religion. It was founded after the civil war and is filled with many of the more socially fascist and the more nationalistic libertarian groups. It is committed to a fierce foreign policy based upon Realism, with either pro-capitalistic to pro-corporate economic policies and social policies based upon that of the original Awesomites.

Climate/Geography- Mostly warm plains but there are a few mountains and snowy areas

History- In 1827 the nation was founded by a large group of travelers of the Awesomite religion looking to create their own nation. The country was built upon immigrants, invasions, and fertile land all of which allowed for the population to grow quickly. In most international conflicts the nation prefers to be somewhat neutral, however, it is willing and capable of defending itself from outside threats. It was hit hard during the great depression and that led to a civil war between capitalistic libertarians and fascist socialists. The war was won by the libertarian group, but this led to scars in the national psyche, it contradictorily led to stronger individualism and stronger nationalism.

Military- The military is known for being small and high tech. A high emphasis is put upon battlefield information, communication, precision, and psychological warfare and forces are known to be used in a manner that is cunning and ruthless. If a larger force is needed then a large portion of the population can be drawn into the service through incentive pay or drafting based upon circumstances as military training is a part of most educational backgrounds.

Economy- Free-market. No tariffs or protective measures. Few to no regulations for many industries. Privatization of most industries. Technology is often subsidized by the government to provide for economic growth.

GDP- The GDP is approximately 4.7 trillion with a GDP per capita of around 45k

Major Industries- The major industries tend to be high tech or money oriented. The largest industries are information technology, biotechnology, and a large variety of service industries.

Notes on culture-The Awesomians tend to have the same religion, which is the Awesomite religion of the founders. This religion is a monotheistic religion based on the premise that earthly greatness and spiritual greatness tend to go hand in hand as devotion is seen as doing great things, and because of that most Awesomites try to do great things with their lives meaning that there is a good level of ambition for their god. Many drugs are frowned upon and piercings are too because of the emphasis on a clean body and mind and the Awesomite religion is known for being relatively strict. Educational attainment is often a sign of status in this society which leads to many people reading and getting degrees of some form or another. Within the nation there tends to be a distrust of political change but significantly less people who are financially risk averse. Savings are important in this nation, which has a high rate of savings and investing, this is especially important because of the lack of social security.

Government Type: Constitutional monarchy
Preferred Ideology: Very liberal, with legalized drugs and prostitution, and numerous laws protecting aspies. The goal is to create a homeland where aspies can live in peace and comfort.
Climate/Geography: Cool and pleasant, due to its location just south of Scandinavia.
Population: 12 million
History: Many thousands of years ago, there was a beautiful island called Aspergia. Aspies has rich culture, and lived orderly, peaceful lives. Then a huge storm came, devastating the island, and causing mass diaspora. As a result aspies were scattered around the world. Now they've reestablished the wonderful homeland they once had, and can once again live in peace.
Military: Relatively small, but very advanced. Has enough troops to assist the population in natural disasters, but has contracts with other countries for reinforcement against invasions.
Economy: Highly regulated market economy. Employers are required employ a specific minimum number of people, based on the company's annual revenue. (This is intended to reduce unemployment.) Limited price controls are in place to curb inflation.
Major Industries: High-tech manufacturing, software development, and aspie tourism.
Notes on Culture: Aspie-friendly on both government and societal level. Bullying is punishable by a 1-year prison sentence followed by deportation. Very heavily reliant on bus and rail transportation; car driving is quite limited. Most non-hard drugs and prostitution is legal and regulated.
Law of Return: Any aspie, diagnosed or undiagnosed, can automatically get citizenship; to do that, they need to go through a quick diagnosis by an Aspergian doctor and a 50-question written test. Inspired by Israel's Law of Return, where any Jewish person around the world can automatically get Israeli citizenship just by moving there.

Name- The People's Republic of Lardouc (Lar-doh-uh-ch)
Government Type- People's Democracy (as in no 'representative' crap)

Climate/Geography-
West: A coastal area with mild weather all year round (between 55 and 70 degrees Farenheit or 13-21C). On the coast is a stretch of smooth sandy beach. Just the right amount of rain and sun.

East: Mountainous and sparsely populated. Fairly extreme weather (Winters average -5F or -21C, Summers at about 97F or 36C). Known for it's old growth forests with many trees over 400 years old.

Center: A large plain with the River Svedarren running through from the eastern mountains. The capital city, Huyndan, is built around the river. This is where most of the country's agriculture is produced, and therefore, is the most populated area. (Temperature is around 22F/-5.5C in Winter, and 80F/26C in Summer). Winter-Spring tends to be very wet, while Summer is very dry.

History- The Lardoucs can trace their history back 2000 years. Their language, said to be more difficult to learn (with over 460 vowel sounds) than Mandarin Chinese, has remained almost completely unchanged. The Lardoucs had very little outside contact until around 1600 when they were invaded by the Turks and had their royal family slain. They remained under their oppressive rule for 250 years, until the Bloody Revolution of 1850 led by Fikas Havelar who would later become the nation's first President.

Military- 80% of military spending is in human-controlled mecha. The other 20% is for peacekeeping ground troops in dire situations for when other countries ask for our aid.

Economy- Big Business has no power! Steady growth at 5.4% per year.

Notes on culture- The Lardoucs have a strong sense of community and family honour. They welcome visitors with open arms, but aren't big fans of immigration. Lardouc is polygamist, and has equal rights for men and women. Most of the population practices the local polytheistic religion. Statues of the Gods are big tourist attractions.

Government Type- Uni-Cracy - A unique government designed so any small group of people can easily start a political party and fight with the larger parties thanks to iron-fisted control of donations. The military is controlled by the Arbiter of Force and his Avatars (Avatar of The Sky, Avatar of the Underearth, Avatar of the Overearth, Avatar of the Sea, Avatar of Stealth, Avatar of the Guard and Avatar of the Mind) This is only from the Arbiter of the People so this information may be incorrect.

Climate/Geography- Cold year round and snows at least 300 days of the year. Hills dominate the entire nation and Forest cover 60% of the surface area. Most major cities are located underground. The Capitol - Keenan-Serj has a population of 300 million.

History- Krallia is known for closed borders and technology that vastly outdoes it's neighbors. When invaded during the Crusades whole armies where slaughtered by "Beasts that spat steam and fire like the Dragon" and it's revenge attack let the Plague loose in Europe - the last warning they said. Since then it's been left completely alone for fear it could easily destroy half the planets military in a day. During WWII Krallia signed peace treaties with Nazi Germany that allowed them to move across her borders - as long as they left well enough alone. On the way through the land was reported to be empty except for the occasional sightings of strange flying discs and giant footprints that stank of steel and oil. The UN has labeled for Krallia as a rouge state for admitting to have a massive NBC weapons stockpile and refusing to let inspectors in. But no one is stupid enough to declare war on Krallia.


Military- Information on Krallia's armed forces is sketchy. They have at least developed flying saucers for battle use. The Roswell crash was supposedly a Krallian recon unit. And orbital photos of the nations landscape occasional catch pictures of spider-like quadrupedal tanks with cannons that look as if they use railgun technology. They also have the single largest NBC weapon stockpile on Earth containing at least 3 strains of Ebola, two of Marburg and even Smallpox. They also seem to be all to eager to use an exotic form of Napalm in shows of force.

Economy- No figures are available but they grow a new strain of coffee that has extreme caffeine levels and survives in cold. This coffee is highly sought after for it's extreme kick and the fact it can only grow on Krallian soil. They also export narcotics for processing in the US and other first world nations.

Notes on culture- Extremely xenophobic they have no toleration for non-Krallians on their soil and will give ten days an apology before they fire on a nation - usually with devastating results on the victim. Few Krallians have been seen by are reported to be a least 6 feet tall and males are said too be the hairiest on Earth. Females tend to moderately thin with long faces and hair down to their knees. All Krallians have red hair and are heterochromic (Two different eye colors) pale-skinned. They speak a language of click and snaps. The written language is impossible to decipher but consists of glyphs made from perfectly straight lines at angles surrounded by dots.

The Nomadic Peoples of Hobo Jim is a tiny, socially progressive nation, notable for its burgeoning hippo population. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 6 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The enormous, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Healthcare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 40%, but much higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Voting is compulsory. Crime is well under control, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Hobo Jim's national animal is the hippo, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the cheese sandwich.

History- A large island in the Southern Ocean, it was settled by the Danish in the 1730's. It became a Danish colony and then declared indpendence from Denmark in 1940.

Major Industries- machinery and equipment, computers, chemicals, pharmaceuticals; animal and food products
Notes on culture - The local dialect of Danish is more different from Danish than US English from British English, it has some Norwegian and Low German elements. It can be a little hard for Danish speakers to understand what a person from New Navarre has to say, speakers of Norwegian understand people from New Navarre much better. New Navarre despite it's small population is a powerhouse in world football (soccer), has win a couple of FIFA world cups and regularly reaching the finals of the world cup.
