yep, i could see these artificial root systems used in ways similar to some adhesives, to anchor objects to one another.
i wonder how the rest of the plant works too, if it exists.

I believe there are different types of intelligence in humans as there are in dogs. I wish I had the particular type of intelligence necessary to comprehend this article.

According to the article it's supposed to have trunk, leaves and all. But it didn't say anything about how the rest of it works.
