What do you do when you are too ill to get out of bed but can't sleep?

Read? Watch a film? Or something more interesting?

so far I have been spared that except for when I got a nasty bug a while back, I was so sick I just lay in bed and dozed, only to get up to pee. before that I rode a grayhound bus cross-country, could not sleep in those upright chairs for 4 days and 5 nights, and was so tired afterwards that I slept straight for 4 days.

I imagine I'm walking around a city. Because it's an imaginary city, I can do anything.

But sometimes that's too much work and I just listen to music.

I read, watch TV and most importantly - browse Internet on my tablet or watch anime on it. I also eat a lot of tasty food.

Usually I am unable to stay in bed for too long though. I must be extremely sick to be there whole day. And even then in the evening I always manage to get up and sit in front of computer screen. I just can't stay in bed for that long without changing position - my back hurts if I do.

Last time I was ill I had fever but couldn't sleep, so right next to my bed I had a lot of bottles of water, my netbook and spend my days watching James Bond movies and in between would surf the internet and drink a lot and a lot of water, because being sick dehydrates your body.

When I was laid up with gout pains in my legs all I could do was sleep, get up and drag myself to the bathroom, then back to bed.
