Yeah. I've been to youth groups/meetings/events and have met maybe one or two.....or more that I didn't particularly like-but of course, I never let this show in my behavior. Although I'm a teen myself, I've got to admit teenagers are one of the most biggest pains in the neck to socialize with!
So, when I'm there talking with a bleach blonde 16 year old (and trying not to lose my train of thought while talking.) who's got attitude in her posture and a look in her eye that says 'drama starter' I can't help but get a bit...what's a good word? Put-off? Annoyed? Something along those lines. More than once when being in a conversation with a fellow teen no matter what gender, I just simply dislike them. If you haven't caught it yet, I can't stand drama and everyday teens reek of it.
But, like I said, I never let my dislike reflect in the way I treat them. Just be nice. As long as they're nice to me, I'll be nice to them. The world turns a bit more smoothly for me. The end.
