Today I managed to get a hold of my old psych and school records from when I was a kid.
So, while reading through the records, I have taken notes... because I'm being evaluated tomorrow. I want to know if you all think the records sound like potential autism.

From psychoeducation and psychological screening reports ranging from age 5 -10:

"naturally does not trust adults"

"adequately developed academically for his age"
"reported to excel in all academic areas"
"variable skill level"
- "difficulty with verbal and nonverbal reasoning."

" significant social and emotional difficulties" including:
- "withdrawn"
- "lack of adaptability"
- "changes in routine problematic"
- "significant delayed social skills"
- "moderate deficit in articulation, eligible for speech/language services"
- "records show that speech/language services have already been discontinued"
- "extremely fearful of school"
- "deficits in ability to explain emotions"
- reported as "won't talk", "secretive", "shy", "alone", "acts young", "sad", "perfectionist", "worrisome",
"self-conscious", "nervous", "fearful", "clumsy", "doesn't get along well with others", "is teased", "isn't liked."
"screenings at age 5 show deficits in articulation." ... "especially in spontaneous speech."

"fine motor control concerns"
"immature pencil grip"

"would like to design video games as a career" (some things never change, )

"rigid body, clinched fists, arms shaking"
"arms often flanging/flapping/moving around"
"student appears 'out of control'"
"student not necessarily aware of posturing"

"disobedient at school"
- "rude"
- "disruptive"
- "non-compliant"
"Is extremely concerned with following all standards and protocols."

"concerns over depressive tendencies"
-"self harm"
-"suicidal talk"

"concerns reported in original evaluation remain"

^and yes, despite all of that I was never diagnosed with anything. The majority of the reports are from the school psychologist and a "family counselor." My parents suddenly became fundamental Christians  , quit jobs as scientists, dragged me to another country, and would have nothing to do with psychology since. So all reports stopped.

It definitely sounds like a possibility. I think it would be worth getting checked out by a professional. Bring your school records along; they'll be useful. Have you ever had issues with sensory problems, or developed extremely strong and narrow interests in a specific subject area?
