I feel extremely lonely all of the time. I am at home and go to an online school so there are not any opportunity to make friends. The only time I go somewhere is with my family to shopping or a restaurant. I talk to my online friends on Kik. But I am tired of doing that. I have no friends in real life. I lost my only friend last year and that makes things worse. I have depression andhear vvoices. The loneliness is really getting to me and I don't know what to do anymore. I am starting to have suicidal thoughts again.

Yeah, I'm in pretty much the same boat. I work, I go home, sometimes go visit my boyfriend. Who is my only friend. Who is joining the Navy and going to be gone a large part of at least the next six years.
The only suggestions I can make are what I'm doing. I'm starting therapy again so that the framework is in place if I need help, and I'm starting classes either January or March. Find a community ed class at the community college or something. If you've got semi-decent social skills you can usually start a friendship at one of those. The hobby type ones are better, like pottery or basketry or cooking or whatever.

I tend to talk to cashiers, baristas, and the like when I'm out. It's not friends, but it's something. I think for some people, even the little things like that can be a saving moment.

What you have just said, has been what I have been saying to myself for a long time now. Or at least too long. At least you have online friends. I occasionally post on here and maybe half time it actually gets a response.

I also feel alone because, even when I am with other people, I never really feel like I'm with someone. I feel alone even with other people.

I don't know how this is how you feel, but I feel very similarly. And I don't what to tell you, I haven't been able to fix this myself

I can honestly relate a lot with this post, especially at the moment but throughout the last couple years for sure. When I do make friends, it's often fairly laboured and they don't last long, so while I get the chance to make friends in real life, that doesn't help a whole lot. In fact, the pain of losing the friends is often the worst part for me. I also have depression and have felt suicidal a lot, I don't really know what gets me through, probably hope. But I know it's hard, and I hope you feel better soon. :)

Online school is pretty difficult because you lose the ability to be social and make friends.. online friends are great, but they're no substitute for genuine social interaction.

Do you have any hobbies you can go out and make friends from doing? Basketball? Skateboarding? Video games?

They call me lesbian, bisexual.
They laugh at me.
They comment on everything I'm doing.

I know how you feel. I just graduated high school and only talk to people online. I'm a very outgoing and social person, but I have nothing in common with anyone around me.

I write stories, too :)

Sadly, nobody wants to hear about it in my family. There's nothing disturbing or graphic. One time, based on the title of my series I got accused of writing "racy" content. Some people need to learn how to take the judge a book lesson literally. Except in my case they judge it by it's title and not it's cover art because I have none.

If you ever want to talk about the stories you write, message me!

Have a good day and hang in there!

I feel the same exact way. even when I do have friends, they eventually just stop caring about me. also my bf broke up with me a while ago and he was the one person who I thought would never leave.

I know how that feels. I miss my boyfriend. He was the most perfect person ever.

I am often lonely, yet at the same time, efforts to make friends and interact with groups have led either to more misery due to my making mistakes/scaring people off, or I have found it such a struggle to sustain the effort required to behave 'normally' and converse, that I just give up again and resign myself to having too many issues to interact with other people. It is a painful predicament, to be honest.
