Has anyone here been assessed to have selective mutism? And if so, did a prior diagnosis of selective mutism impact your AS diagnosis? I was diagnosed, insofar as the term is appropriate, with selective mutism when I was four, and am wondering if it's likely to impact me when I eventually get an ASD assessment.
