Hi,

Are you someone who likes to rock back and forth, side to side, whatever?

If you are, have you ever or do you like to rock to music?

If so, do you like to rock to slow(ish) music?

If so, what music do you like to rock to?

(talk about narrowing it down through asking questions :) )

When I hear a song I like on the radio I often rock a little side to side - it means I'm really getting into the song and feeling it. It's usually a slower, more emotional song.

There was a song in the 70s that went:

"Rock me gently, Rock me slowly, take it easy, don't you know."

I like to rock gently to Christmas music, because Christmas was a warm and peaceful time around my house when I was growing up. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

That's lovely CockneyRebel, that you have some place you can go that makes you feel warm and fuzzy. I think that's a very important and good thing for the soul.

I both rock and listen to a constant stream of music, but I don't believe I ever do both at the same time. If I do, I'm not aware of it.

I rock to songs by a singer called Lene Marlin. I think her voice is entrancing and beautiful, very relaxing too. I play her songs on repeat for hours.

Her song "Where I'm Headed" is my favourite song:

I do that too and from what I've seen on WP, a lot of other ASDers do it too.

I wonder if NTs do this as well?

It depends on the sort of music....if its more gentle music then I might gently rock, if its not so gentle music then I will rock for sure lol just not gently by any means. I do not always do that to music but if I am really getting into it and don't have other distractions I tend to.

That was a beautiful song. It is also a good song to rock to. I can see how you could listen to it for hours.

The song I like to rock to is a song called 'Down' by 'Stars of the Lid'.

The first 2 minutes are just weird and no good to rock to but after 2 minutes, IT'S THE BEST!!

Let me know what you think
