Wrong. People on YouTube wouldn't have the influence that have or jobs even if people like you didn't constantly talk to them or watch their videos, or follow them or like their tweets.
But after Pearl Harbor there continued to be protests. Boycotts even. Nobody boycotts anything now unless their most trusted news sources tell them to. And they won't because nobody pays them! Nobody feels hurt when they're lied to because they have no stake in the informstion they're being given!
