Governor Schwarzenegger finaly did something right after several months of proposing ret*d plans by supporting the Minuteman Project.
Maybe if it works well enough, the INS could start deporting illegal aliens faster than they sneak accross the border and hopefully take some of their kids with them.

careful now, we don't want anyone to think you are promoting upholding our nation's laws!! ... in california of all places, damn rebels!

That mostly sums up most of the other rants I've been thinking about posting.

Hopefully the National Guard will be deployed along the border in place of the Minuteman volunteers soon. Maybe then most of the illegal aliens being deported can get dropped of in southern Mexico near the border with El Salvador so it will be even harder for them to comne back.

I should see if I can schedule time to join the Minuteman Project.

Uhhhh, no Torn. Your only job is to report your observations to the Border Patrol and let them go their job. In fact, if you are armed and confront the migrants, you may cause more problems then you are solving.

If you play by the rules for now, then maybe the military will eventually take over. Maybe you can join the National Guard and then shoot the illegal aliens in the future?

In am very unhappy about the contents of this thread. You talk about illegal immigrants as if they were animals, not humans, while in fact their main sin is that they were born poor and on the wrong side of the border. And that comes from people who complain that they are badly treated by the society for something they were born with. Shame on you!

And i feel the same way. I honestly am offended that you people are so racist and have AS. How can you even think about such things as treating immigrants badly after what you have been through with AS?

The well-being of Mexican citizens is a domestic matter for the Mexican government's responsibility. Likewise, the well-being of US citizens is a domestic mater that is the US govenrment's responsibility. The US cannot look after the well being of both countries. Therefore, the US government must deport foreign citizens living here illegally and let their respective countries handle them. The purpose of the Minuteman Project is to assist the government in this process. If the Mexicans want to live here, there's a process to do so legally as well.

Deportation of illigal imigrants, possibly. But you were talking about shooting them...........
