While this board is meant to unite people who either have or suspects ASD in themselves or in their loved ones, and for many of you it strongly affect the way you identify yourselves, I'm sure there are other things that affect our self-identity, perhaps more important than this. So, while I haven't officially confirmed having ASD and, therefore, don't want it to define who I am, my Jewish identity (and Orthodox lifestyle) is much more clear and much more important to me. At the same time, I acknowledge that, perhaps, since I have some reasons to suspect Asperger's in myself, it could very well be that my way of perceiving the world has indeed a lot in common with you guys. So, it would be interesting to find people I can empathize with with in both departments at the same time. So, if you are Jewish, let's get connected.

???? I find this ( I'm not even Jewish) quite offensive. I have many friends that are Jewish, none of them are "cheap".
I am Jewish and I am accustomed to people saying stuff like this. While growing up, I made NO attempt to "expose" being Jewish to others. As I didn't want to give people another reason to bully me.
