I mostly love music from the romantic era,Chopin and Liszt wrote some magnificent pieces.

I love Mozart more than any other. His music is perfect, and fellow piano-players will know what I mean :wink:
Ravel is also very good, the Bolero being a weaker piece.
And of course Vivaldi, Bach and Beethoven.

You bums should all check out Apocalyptica. Friggen' awesome. They're kind of like a mix between rock and classical--A few guys with cellos playing an exciting rock beat.

All good choices! Which of their works do you admire the most? I found Tchaikovsky's "Slave March" elicited a strange emotional response from me. I am learning one of Mozart's Menuets in my piano (actually keyboard) lessons, along with a diverse range of works from other eras.

It's cello metal but I think it could be loosely described as classical.

Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach and a whole bunch of others. The thing about Mozart is that when the world is too much for me, I can turn on Mozart and hear/feel sanity and peace and gratitude. I've read that his work vibrates at the same rate as the ... planet? universe? Whatever. It's a gift from the gods.

And also Ludovico Einaudi, known for his piece: Le Onde (Which I'm learning at the moment)
