Profile system, updated.

I see that there's a new profile system that's updated. You can now choose to reveal your diagnosis, however there is no longer a field for gender.

You can choose whether or not to reveal your diagnosis but can't you do the same for gender? If you choose to reveal your gender, you can just use a male or female symbol.

I don't get the point of Alex doing it if Custom Rank and Gender are STILL not added.
Plus it looks boring and plain with all the white space that becomes increasingly common these days

Silly question, but where the hell can you edit your signature now? The "My Account" link used to take me to a page with "Edit Signature" as one of the menu options on the left side. Now there's just a form to edit the profile with no such links.

Why relationship status but no gender? Someone who wants to advertise themselves as available could put their gender there, too, but it seems like an inefficient way to go about organizing things.

Thanks for the changes, I like them I don't put my birth date not because I am averse to people knowing that I am a wrinklie, but because I had my details stolen once from a Meet Up page. So I keep these to a minimum, or enter a false birth date on websites just in case of more identity theft. Though no problems with WP on that score thank goodness

Don't look now, B19, but your age is under your name----so, you must have entered your birthday.

Wait a minute. I've checked the box that says "I want to display my diagnosis to the public" but it still doesn't show up on my profile .

Also, how is it, that everybody joined at EXACTLY 7pm----but, on a different day?

You have to (1) select a diagnosis, and (2) click on the little white dot to the right of "I want to display my diagnosis to the public?". But if you have already done that, then never mind.

Personally, I am waiting for the time I can be known as the "Metasyntactic Variable" again, instead of just a "Veteran".

Cat, i'm getting 4 pm. and i'm sitting here thinking this bug was ancient history.

while age is now publicly displayed on the forums again, strangely though i can still access Adult Autism even though i technically don't have a complete birthday entered. that used to be required (but not public). i guess the forum is public now?

beyond me. i have been trying to follow any of the old URLs/links my browser has saved, to the User Control panel to see if it's still around and not just inaccessible, but no, it simply redirects me to the new profile editing page.

when i saw nickname, i had my hopes up that it would be like 'custom rank' but it only shows on profile pages now. nowhere else. for first name i entered none of, and your business for last, but it's not public either.

For some reason WP keeps losing features whenever something is changed.
