Good grief! That's horrible. And now Egypt will retaliate.

Yes, it is horrible. I think that Egypt won't do much by way of retaliation, because the victims were all Christians, not Moslems.

Libya was much better off with Gaddafi and it was a mistake to illegally intervene in that country, we've open Pandora's box and unleashed ISIS on the world. The entire Middle East and North Africa have been destabilized, more people are dying and suffering, its even less democratic, and the West is at more risk now than it was before.

Opening the box sooner rather than later could be seen as a preventive measure.

ISIS was born out of US interventionism, it was nurtured from the very beginning by our policies(and indirect possibly direct material support) and they don't exist without us. The entire War On Terror is a failure, the cost in blood and treasure has been grave and we're not safer as a result. The response to 9/11 should of been one of law enforcement not war, we can't win and are only digging a deeper and deeper hole. The world is much bloodier, less free, and more bleak than it has ever been because of our own actions. History will keep repeating itself over and over, nobody has the guts to stand up anymore and tell the truth and everybody is so afraid that nobody would listen even if they did. It's entirely predictable and will keep happening until we collapse, we're really just killing ourselves.

The real enemy are the ones that kill, torture, and imprison. We can't stand a pedestal, we don't exist in a vacuum and as the most powerful country in human history our actions definitely have consequences. There isn't a country that influences the world more than the US does today, we have to be responsible for our actions and be able to admit our mistakes and our faults if this empire is to survive.

That the US is largely responsible for the state of the world and that we need to look towards our own actions if we want any hope of ever rectifying it. The path we are on is unsustainable just as it has been for every empire that has came before us, if we cannot learn from our own mistakes then our fate will be no different.

You are in denial and are unwittingly aiding the enemy then

That's exactly what the enemy wants you to think.

Meanwhile, in the real world:
