the website wont load my costom avatar. it's only 4 KB in size, 30 pixels in height, and 30 pixels in width. Why won't it load?

check the file type. it only works on jpg, gif, or png files

Site cropped my chin off in my avvie--I made sure it was the requisite 130x160 pixels. I'dve cropped off hat and forehead if I thought it needed to be smaller, any way to bump the cropping to the top of the pic and get my chin back? Not 'cuz I love my chin, 'cuz I don't, but because I look even weirder without one--whereas the hat ain't actually part of me.
