They say people with autism follow "specific schedules" or routines that are done over and over and i admit that might be true but i dont know.

I typically stay in my room all day playing the wii u or playing the 3ds or using the internet. I did buy a nexus 9 so i guess that will replace my laptop and that will be used as my main internet device. I also work at night part time too. So i guess i go to bed at say 4:30am and wake up at 12PM. It was hard to adjust to the night shift at first but i have adapted to it.

My typical day is that I get up between 8 and 9 am, wash up and get dressed, and start working on my computer. Then, around noon, I have completed some work, and I can stop for awhile, so I usually try to eat a small amount of food but not always possible to eat food so early in the day before I drive to lab, where I run eggsperiments if I have eggsperiments scheduled that day, and my favorite time for running are between 2 pm and 6 pm. If I have no eggsperiments that day, I do some more work on my computer at lab, and this is the time to send emails to people, if I need to. And also I tend to get hungry around 3 pm, so that is when I eat lunch, but I eat lunch before if I have eggsperiments. Sometimes, I have tutoring scheduled, which usually is 4 pm to 6 pm, or sometimes I have a student at night, like 7 pm to 9 pm. After tutoring, I drive home, eat food, take a shower, then start working on my computer again, perhaps writing new code, running code, or reading science papers or books. Then, I get into bed around 1 am to 2 am, put on some youtube documentary, and fall asleep. On weekends, I go for long walks in pasadena area, and I will get a bike soon to go for bike rides.

Monday to Friday routine is pretty much the same,

get up at 7.45am
get ready for work
Leave at 8am
Arrive at work 8.25am
Work
Finish work at 3.45pm
Get home around 4.05pm (less traffic)
Have a cup of tea
Spend the rest of my evening on iPad
Go to bed
And repeat

I work in a school for children with ASD so my routine there is pretty strict :D

I don't work weekends so sometime it varies what I do.

Cool, I go to that kind of school.

After getting home from said school, I spend most of time in my room on my laptop or pad.

I do have a very strict routine, but have been trying to do not be so tied to it because I was constantly having a lot of bad situations whenever something disturbed it.
Saying in a very general way (because it would be a wall of a text to describe it detailed):
I wake up at 6:00, take my shower and get ready for work, go to work, make my lunch at 12:15, go back to work, go to university at 17:00, go back home at 22:30, take another shower, have dinner while playing some game and go to sleep.
Add a few (or a lot lol) of small details to each one of the actions and you have my daily routine from monday to friday.

Wake up at 11:30AM. Turn off alarm clock a few times.
Wake up at 12AM. Get out of bed.
Turn on computer.
Go to kitchen to make breakfast.
Eat breakfast in front of computer.
Wash tooths.
Sit in front of computer till 14:50.
Prepare dinner for mom.
Mom returns from work.
15:30-16:50, with mom time (talking, shopping, doing chores).
Dad returns home, mom gives him dinner.
16:50-17:50, computer time.(mom is having her favorite TV show = me and dad are prohibited from doing anything that might disturb her, not even talk :D)
17:50-evening, Either computer time or visiting family time(mondays and special occasions).
Early evening, TV time.
Late evening(parents go to sleep so house gets silent), computer time or studying time.
Around midnight, take a shower, prepare supper and go to bed.
Midnight-???, anime and manga time combined with eating supper.(it can last up to 6AM if I get hauled in a story, usually 2-3AM though)
When I am done with anime/manga - wash tooths and go to sleep.

I am most vulnerable to change between 8AM and 12AM when I am sleeping (you unexpectedly wake me up and I get a meltdown, I always tell my parents to tell me day before that they want to do something in the morning so I can "set" my biological clock aka shorten anime/manga night time, lol) and between 12AM and 15:30 when I am having home alone time. If dad comes home before mom and for example tells me to prepare dinner at 14.30 I get extremely unhappy and upset although it is just 20mins earlier than I usually do.
I am flexible between 15:30 and evening because I expect unexpected then. Parents have various ideas so the environment is out of my control during that time. I intentionally don't do anything that could make me overly focused then because I know it hurts when they suddenly disturb me when I am focused.

On days I don't have much going on  I get up between 10 & noon, go downstairs & brush teeth, spend time downstairs with my girlfriend watching TV while waiting at least an hour to eat breakfast which is usually between 12 & 1;30, check mail unless it's a Sunday, go upstairs & spend time on computer, I take breaks to go downstairs to use bathroom, get water & to check on my girlfriend, eat lunch usually around 6;30/7, go back upstairs & get on computer, sometimes go downstairs to watch TV with my girlfriend(times vary), sometimes go back upstairs before doing back exercises & showering, sometimes go upstairs after before eating supper which is usually around 12;30, go back upstairs & get back on computer & go to bed around 2/2;30. I take breaks to check on my girlfriend while on computer & sometimes I'll lay down in bed with her while she's on her tablet. & I also check on my guinea-pig throughout the day while I'm in my room & feed him.

9 am - 11 am: Wake up and lie in bed thinking or fantasizing.
11 am - 1 pm: Get out of bed, bathroom, put on pajamas, have breakfast.
1 pm - 2 pm: Check e-mail, check snail mail, decide on errands for the day.
1 pm - 3 pm: Shower, get dressed, make phone calls, run errands.
3 pm - 5 pm: Cook dinner.

If there are no errands that require me to leave the house:
12 pm - 3 am: Post on WP, practice vocabulary, Internet search random stuff, do small household chores, read library books, watch youtube videos. There are about two meals in there and one or two snacks.
9 pm - 11 pm: Post in my journal
2 am - 3 am: brush and floss teeth, shutdown computer, go to bed.

The most typical part of my days is my getting up routines in the first 90 minutes. These first 90 minutes tasks rarely vary and I do things in the same order every day unless some unexpected disruption occurs. I don't like being disrupted in the routine of that first hour and a half at all! It kind of sets me up for whatever I have to do that particular day. It's my "me" time of the day and I don't want phonecalls (unless emergency related), doorknocks, texts...

I:

get up and make coffee
feed the cat
take some pills
make breakfast
eat breakfast
second coffee and check email briefly
take more pills
change litter in cat's litter tray
feed the birds outside
water any thirsty plants
shower, clean teeth, do hair etc
dress
check my diary/tasks/appointments for the day
read email properly and reply to anything urgent

This can sometimes take longer than 90 minutes though as long as there is no disruption I am :)

Wake up, while either get an all-morning headache or involuntarily sneezing first thing in this morning.
Wash/bath, get dressed up, etc. Forget about breakfast when running late. (I have to be with my sister when leaving)
Go to school.
Stay/standby at the on job training area. If doing nothing (like right now), get on the internet.
Walk home.
Bugging my mom if I ever find her.
Play with the computer (whether there's internet or not).
Depending how tiring the day is or how this allergy suddenly kicks in is when I'll sleep.

If I didn't sleep at ALL:
Either sleep at school or sleep after school.
Wake up around night or past midnight.
Wash/bath, get dressed up, etc. At morning, without sleep.
Go to school, doing the usual.
Walk home.
Simply stay awake at night until I end up sleeping at 'right times'.

The cycle can go on and on and on. But it'll change tomorrow, because it's my final exam and I'm about to graduate.
