Are any of you 18-25 and willing to take my surveys? Its my research project for school I am finishing my Doctorate in Education and am trying to see if Transition Plans in school help, you don't have to have a Transition Plan. The total study takes less than an hour and its all online...I would really appreciate your help. PM me or email me for more info [email protected]
I have Autism also and am studying this topic to try and help create more programs for Autistic Young Adults after high school.
Thanks,
-Imari

I just realized the website I used (surveyGizmo) only has a 7 day trial and I can only see the results of people who took it in the last 12 hours...
I very sorry for whoever wasted their time to take this and now I can't even get the results. I am very pissed off. :x
If anyone knows a website that won't require money and will give me proper results and pie charts, let me know and I will remake it and post it here again. :P

Try Survey Monkey they have a free component without limitations I am almost certain of it, however there are other upgrades you can make that aren't free

Here is the Survey I am using as part of my Dissertation, it's designed for Young Adults with Autism 18-25 I am trying to measure the effectiveness of Transition Plans

I'm curious about question 33: "Do you feel the need to constantly close doors/windows and sit in corners?"
Does that have a correlation to anything other than paranoia?

Sounds like OCD thing to me.

I don't think it necessarily has to be related to paranoia, I don't have paranoia but i think i feel the need to do that because the door leads to another room and there is more sensory input coming from there, so closing the door gets rid of some of it. Or maybe it makes it easier to predict whats going on. because if someone walks through an open doorway i might not notice them and they could suprise me (same as coming up behind me). But if a door is closed i know when they come in. And i also really like my privacy.

I answered 'kinda' because I self-injure, but not as a stim. A stim is something you do because you like the sensation of doing it, whereas with self-injury I do it because I want a visible sign of distress, even though I find it painful and unpleasant.

Also, I was abused as a child, but not by a caregiver. (Sibling abuse.)

Yeah... wasn't sure what to put here either. I've hit my head with my hands and on walls and tables and books and whatnot. I've also shoved a knife up my nose just for the hell of it. Sometimes I want to cut myself but I haven't ever.
